Description
The island nation of Niue is one of the many to offer its own design series on silver bullion coins and Bars, produced by the New Zealand Mint.
This design is inspired by the Ancient Greek Tetradrachm and bears an owl on a branch. The original coins were issued in Athens and used throughout the city-states of Ancient Greece for more than nearly 500 years.
The design predominantly includes the owl, with an olive sprig with a crescent moon above the owls head.
